Harry has been working on computers since 1976 when he first started programming in BASIC and Fortran on a miniframe computer using punch cards and paper tape to store programs. The computer industry has gone through an amazing evolution since then and Harry has been there every step of the way. He has worked at large military facilities and law firms managing information infrastructure and large computer corporations before striking out on his own.

By the mid 1980’s he was founder and SysOp of a BBS (Bulletin Board System) for computer pioneers and enthusiasts which he later moved to CompuServe and then finally to the Internet.

His first Internet business came in 1994 building internet service provider sites and network management. In 2000 he branched out and started selling products on eBay and domain registration and hosting services, the scope and focus has changed over the years.

In late 2006 he started focusing on Internet Marketing, teaching others how to bring their businesses on-line and how they can start marketing to a broader audience. In March of 2008, he officially changed the name of his business to Kestral Marketing LLC to complete the evolution.

Since 2006, Kestral Marketing has put its full weight and resources to bear on building at strong and responsive Internet Marketing Business.

If you have the need or desire to learn how to start and run a business on the Internet, then Kestral Marketing wants to be the team you chose to guide and help you get there. To be successful in starting and running a business on the Internet, finding customers and learning how to deliver products they want and need is paramount.

Included in the long list of Harry’s career experiences are software and database application development, data cipher/encryption and digital radio transmission expert, data modeling and normalization, project management, system management, networking, data and network security consultant, computer application and programming instructor.

His passions are family, friends, building businesses, technology, dog training, distance running, beach volleyball, stunt kites, and bird watching.

He is also an author and photographer, his works have been published in trade journals and military publications.

Sidenote: As a birder my favorites are raptors (birds of prey) specifically a falcon called the “American Kestrel.” When deciding on the business name I really wanted to use a Kestrel as a logo and name but finding the domain unavailable, I opted to use the less common spelling (or misspelling as the case may be) of Kestral. Hopefully my fellow Birders will take it easy on me for taking this liberty ;)
