I was doing some research for a few of my upcoming articles,
and I came across a site that I found fascinating. Here are a
few of the statistics that caught me by surprise:
What country has the largest number of users on the Internet?
My first thoughts were the US or possibly India, but the
correct answer is China with an estimated 253 million users.
The United States was number two with just a little over 220
million. But here’s what really surprised me, Japan which
was number three had a sharp drop in the total number of
users at only 94 million.
What country has the highest percentage of population online?
Again, here is where I was surprised. My first guesses were
Australia, United Kingdom, or Japan. But again I was wrong,
as it turns out, Canada has the largest penetration of
Internet users per capita, at over 84%. Australia comes in
second at 79.4% and Japan comes in number three at just the
little under 74%.
The site gives a complete breakdown of the top 20 countries
with the highest number of Internet users. There are also a
few other surprises in there that you might find interesting
such as, what country has the highest percentage of user
growth from 2000 to 2008? The answer I am sure will surprise
you. It also has some other graphs that puts the Internet
popularity and usage into perspective. I am sure you will
enjoy checking it out. The site is called "Internet World stats"
at http://www.internetworldstats.com/top20.htm
If you find some that surprises you, do me a favor and leave
a comment on this blog so others can hear what you have to say.
Enjoy,
Harry

Have you heard of Alan R. Bechtold? He’s this crazy guy who has been successfully marketing
and publishing online more than 24 years … longer than anyone I’ve ever heard of. Since before there WAS a publicly-accessible World Wide Web.
I’ve never seen someone have more fun making money than Alan does. And now he’s released a full-length movie that shows you how to make all the money you want while you have fun doing the things you always loved doing most.
The movie, "The FUNdamental You," has just been released. It ties in perfectly to Alan’s newest book, "Will Work for Fun: 3 Simple Steps to Turning Any Hobby or Interest Into Cash," which was just recently released into book stores by John Wiley and Sons Books.
In both the movie and the book, Alan reveals his simple three-step formula for easily and quickly building any business — online or offline — through thinking like a publisher and changing the way you think about work.
I highly recommend you get "The FUNdamental You" or "Will Work for Fun" for yourself. Get both. After you see the movie, you’ll just want the book anyway.
You’ll have a blast learning Alan’s simple formula, because he’s poured more entertainment value into his new book and movie than I’ve ever seen in anything like them before.
Get the movie and book here:

Hurry — Alan’s holding a giant giveaway launch celebration that includes a bunch of valuable bonuses when you pick up the movie, the book, or the movie and book during the promotion.
It’s only scheduled to run a few days and it ends at noon Eastern US time June 28, 2008.

If you miss this, I don’t want to hear you come back crying about it later. Just go get them both right now, grab your gifts, and come back here to thank me. Then we’ll discuss the book and movie here.
Put this off and you’ll regret it.
All The Best,
Harry

Ok you might think this is a little off the wall, but if you know about Matt Harding you will be happy to know that his newest video has just been launched today.
So now you are wondering who is Matt? Well he did a video called “Where the Hell is Matt?” back in 2006 that went amazingly viral and allowed him to turn his passion, traveling the world and getting video of him dancing at some very amazing places.
One of the things I love about this is that just by his dancing he has created a peaceful bubble that surrounds him. When he did the first video people would stand around him and just stare. In his latest video he now has so many people dancing with him that sometimes you can barely make him out.
I had the chance to talk with Matt back in April 2007 by email and sent him the following message.
Sent April 12 2007
Hello Matt wherever you are,
Two places I think you need to put on your To Do list, the Grand Canyon Skywalk and the Zero G plane. I think what you are doing is great, I hope it encourages more people to live big dreams!
All The Best,
Harry
Here was his reply on April 13 2007
Hey Harry
Thanks for the suggestions. I’ve got both those things on my list.
-Matt
It is really cool to see he managed to get in the Zero-G dance on this video and is still encouraging more people to live big dreams. Way to Go, Matt!
So now you might be wondering why I am posting this on a how to make money blog… well after making his first movie it was so widely watched (9.6 million views to date and counting) that Stride Gum sponsors him on his trips allowing him to make money doing what he loves to do instead of punching a clock at a JOB. He is living proof that if you have a passion there is always a way to make money doing it for a living.
